How do I reserve this property? What is the method of payment?

We have an online booking calendar on this website. Select your dates and book your home online via a major credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit cards. We will also accept personal checks unless it is a last minute booking, but please message us about that.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations will be charged 15% of the gross rent if the property is re-rented for the full amount. If property is not re-rented for the full amount, the full rental deposit is forfeited. All cancellations must be in writing. Your reservation will be in effect upon receipt of your deposit and the cancellation policy will apply. No refunds will be given for inclement weather, including hurricanes, or for activities beyond control of Owner. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance.

Do you offer Trip Insurance?

Two types of trip insurance are offered via TravelGuard during the online booking process. Trip insurance is optional, but we highly recommend purchasing it. You can review the specific details during the online booking.

Do you require a damage deposit?

Yes, we require either a $500 personal check or a credit card number on file. Please notify us immediately if any damages occur or you discover any pre-existing damage.

How far is this home to the beach? Is the beach access public or private?

For our Bethany Beach property, we are about 1.5 miles from downtown Bethany Beach and the boardwalk area. Paid parking is available, and we recommend the parking lots on Atlantic Ave. For our Chincoteague Island properties, you will need to purchase a pass to the Assateague Island National Seashore. Daily, weekly, and annual passes are available.

Do you supply linens?

Yes. All bed sheets, pillow cases, and kitchen towels are provided. We do not provide pool or beach towels. Bath towels are provided as a convenience and must be laundered prior to check-out. We do not provide towels at all at our Bethany Beach location during the summer rental season.

What is the Cleaning Fee?

The Cleaning Fee covers non-rental fees associated with preparing the home for a guest stay. This includes cleaning, inspections, inventory management, supply set-up, outdoor preparation and other tasks associated with preparing the home for guest arrival.

Is WIFI and Cable Television provided?

Yes, free WIFI and Cable TV are provided. The WIFI passwords will be provided via email and are also posted in the home.

Can we check in early or drop off our luggage?

No. Our check-in time is 4:00 PM EST. Please do not interrupt the cleaning as extra charges may apply. The cleaning staff will be preparing for guest arrivals during a limited window of time. Check-out time is 11:00 AM, and late check-out fees may apply if our cleaner has to wait or come back.

Are trailers permitted? How much parking is available?

Trailers are not permitted and will not fit in our garage at our Bethany Beach location. They are not permitted to be parked on the condo parking lot at our Chincoteague Island location, but there is a designated parking area for boat trailers (please ask about this). The garage in Bethany Beach will fit one vehicle. There is additional parking to the right of our building. There is plenty of unassigned parking at our Chincoteague Island location.

Are beach chairs, umbrellas and toys provided?

We supply 8 beach chairs and a beach umbrella, and toys although some of these items may need to be replaced during the season. We will gladly reimburse if broken chairs or a broken umbrella need to be replaced.

Do you supply toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags and soaps?

We stock these items at the beginning of the summer season. Our cleaner is not responsible for replenishing the items, so we cannot guarantee they will be in the unit. In Bethany Beach, there is a grocery store diagonal from our community, and in Chincoteague there is a grocery store and 2 dollar stores on the Island. We do hope our guests pay it forward. Both the owners and many guests leave items behind for the next guests to use.

What items do I need to bring?

Bath/hand and beach/pool towels, shampoo, suntan spray/lotion, ice chests, beach toys. Some condiment items may be in the home such as salt/pepper, sugar, spices, and coffee filters, although they are not officially provided.

Is there an outdoor gas grill?

Yes, we have an outdoor gas grill at the Clubhouse in our Bethany Beach location. The community supplies the propane. Please clean up the grill after use. At our Chincoteague Island location, there are charcoal grilling areas on both sides of the community. We provide an initial supply of charcoal and lighter fluid.

What small kitchen appliances and cooking utensils are provided?

We have all of the standard items that you would typically find in a kitchen for preparing family meals (pots, pans, knives, etc.) including a toaster, microwave, coffee pot and blender.

Where do we pick-up the keys or obtain property access information?

At our Bethany Beach location, we utilitze a lockbox for keys, so there is no key pick-up. Access codes for the home (and/or applicable garage entry codes) will be sent via email during the week prior to your arrival. Driving directions will also be sent at this time.

Who do I call for a problem after arrival?

Please call the owner about any problems.
